Heritage Resort Coorg

I stayed with my Family in June end...let me try to cover everything in this review Location - Very Nice..the only best part was the location if you love serene places. 20 minutes from the city centre. But at a secluded location. Also if you are travelling with kids and aged people be very cautious as the property is on hills and have inclined roads which in monsoon is very slippery for kids and aged people Rooms - rooms were not upto the mark..towels were not that clean. Beds had huge mattress which actually raised the size of the bed. Food - breakfast menu was very limited. We just ordered 4 aloo kulchas which costed us 720 rs and were hopeless in taste. Hospitality - Very bad hospitality...No hotel ask for the full payment at the time of checkin but they took the entire amount at checkin. Overall - We paid 12500 for per night for breakfast however one of our friend stayed in another resort ( which is 10 minutes drive from Heritage ) and paid 9500 for two meals. They had very nice experience at that resort.The heritage team needs to understand providing good services would help them build reputation and customer satisfaction.

Gr8 location. Gr8 scenery/ views . Gr8 service. Moving around the property a challenge due to topography - Electric buggy to move around big benefit / a must ! Height of bed a big issue , very uncomfortable. Excellent food, superb f&b service - top of class. Views from Restaurant a delight !

Tye resort is very beautiful, very green clean and well maintained. The staff is very friendly especially the local staff in the restaurant is excellent, very friendly, very co operative and always willing to go an extra mile to make the customer happy. The climb to the dining area is beautiful, we enjoyed walking upto the dining area and pool. The cottages are a bit barely decorated and basic including the bathrooms. The resort can at least add a mini fridge to the rooms for people to have cold water when coming from the hot sun. Overall it’s a great place to.

Heritage Coorg Resort is by far the worst resort i have visited and stayed in my life. They charge you money equivalent to a 5 star for per night stay but basic wifi in the room is not available as part of facility. You can only get wifi in restaurant and reception . Fyi. We had received the confirmation for room reservation via email mentioning complimentary wifi will be provided Overall hygiene wise it's extremely bad , no basic facility provided , misleading pictures in the online sites Please avoid staying and spoiling your trip here.

This resort is tucked away about 30 miles from the city. Based on good reviews, we chose it to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. After our stay, we felt we should have chosen another resort. The main problem that we encountered was that access to all areas including rooms, dining hall, spa is not even available to their own carts. One has to walk over uneven stone pathways with steep inclines and steps. No wheelchair access to your room and other facilities. Breakfast buffet is OK but unlike other resorts waiters here just stand watching you instead of bringing hot food to you. Reception staff didn’t appear very welcoming, didn’t appear excited to see us, never responded to our request to celebrate our very special occasion of 50th wedding anniversary and sounded more businesslike. Overall, an average experience . Not recommended for seniors, pregnant ladies or any one else having difficulty in walking on uneven stone pathways. Quite far from the city and outside food deliveries not allowed by the hotel.
